HOD Profile

Ms. K. Sree Latha is currently pursuing her PhD From JNTU Anantapur, A.P in the area of Stability Enhancement of the system using FACTS Devices under able guidance of Dr. M. Vijay Kumar, Professor in EEE Department , JNTU Anantapur .She has completed her post graduation, M.Tech.,(Power Systems ) from JNTU Ananthpur in the year 2006 and her graduation from S V University , Tirupathi during 1995-99.

Professional Experience:
She is currently the HOD of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department GNITC, Hyderabad since December 2012 till date. She has around 14 years Teaching experience in eminent Engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. She has published more than 15 papers in various National/International Conferences and Journals.

Contributions/Achievements:

• Conducted National Level Student's Technical Symposium
• As a convener organized the First International Conference in the month of September 2014.
• As an organizer conducted at-least one Seminars / Workshops / Conferences every year.
• Project Mentor & counselor for students to motivate them in academic carrier.
• As a member organized College Day, and Graduation Day.
• Motivating the Students to present the Papers in the National / International Conferences & National / International Journals.

• Dynamic compensation of the 400 KV grid at Kadapa using UPFC presented at Vel Multi Tech, Chennai
• Unified Power Flow Controller ( UPFC ) for optimal Power flow control – presented at NACPAD’06 , Govt. College of Engineering Tirunelveli
• Enhanced Performance of power transmission using multi phase systems presented in Elivision 2K4, KSRMCE, Kadapa
